Sue John
MBACP Dip Therapeutic Counselling

About me

Hello, my name is Sue. I am a therapeutic person-centred counsellor. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Sometimes we experience difficult thoughts and feelings that can be more readily explored with someone who is not involved and won’t judge you.

I will work with you at your own pace to unravel what is troubling you and support you to find a way forward. You will be at the heart of our work.

Who I work with

Adults and older people

Training, Qualifications and Experience

I offer person-centred counselling which means I will work with you in a non-judgemental way to get to the root of your worries and identify what will help you heal and grow. The first 40 minute consultation is free of charge.

I am a trained volunteer with CRUSE, the bereavement charity and worked on their Covid-19 Helpline during the pandemic.

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework.

Areas of counselling

General counselling with extensive experience of working with bereavement, pre-bereavement and loss, including through Covid-19. I am particularly effective in short-term, focussed pieces of work.
